Monday, July 8 Update: Today we prayed for and said goodbye to our 225 WAKE Students and Leaders as they hopped on their busses and left for Passion Camp. As they head to Daytona Beach, we ask that you keep them in your prayers this week!
We also wanted to say thank you to the families who have already stepped up to support our students. We have received just over $55,000 of the goal needed to completely pay for their needs at camp.

Camp is so much more than a week at the beach for these students – it’s about introducing them to Jesus, so if you have no idea what Passion Camp is, let us introduce you through the video and the info below…
This year there is a huge need above and beyond your regular bringing that is needed – just like everything else, costs have all skyrocketed! Transportation to get our students to and from camp safely, scholarships for those who can’t afford it, meals for 225 people, and of course our leaders who take their time off work to go disciple our students – we scholarship them and provide their rooms as well – these are just a few of the things we need help funding this year.
How You Can Help:
That leaves us with a goal of $75,500 to cover everything that is left after camp registrations have been paid! We know this is a huge goal and a BIG ASK, but we serve a BIG God and we believe we can do it! We have 4 Sundays before camp, so we’d love for your family to pray about helping make that happen.

About Passion Camp:
If you don’t know, Passion Camp is part of the Passion Movement that started with Louie and Shelley Giglio out of Atlanta in 1995, they have a singular mission—calling students and leaders from campuses across the nation and cities around the world to live for what matters most – the name and renown of Jesus. We believe in this generation and are watching God use them to change the climate of faith around the globe.
Passion Camp for middle and high schoolers is a summer overnight camp that takes place in Daytona Beach July 8-12, and while our students pay to go to camp, there are a lot of expenses that are not covered – transportation to camp, leaders have to pay to attend and breakfasts are not covered just to name a few of the larger expenses that we take on as a church to send our students to camp.
