JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Facilities Operations Coordinator
Reports to: Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
Reports directly to the Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor assisting in the oversight of the building maintenance, grounds and operations. Preparation and striking of individual rooms and/or facility areas for weekly services, bible studies and other events at Lifebridge Church.
Performs facility maintenance, simple repairs and maintains the cleanliness of the church building and grounds. The Facilities Operations Coordinator will provide good stewardship of the resources God has provided to the Lifebridge Facility Department and will serve as a model of integrity, service, patience, grace, and impeccable work ethics.

Job Responsibilities:
Building Maintenance and Operations:
- Coordinates facility team preparation and setup for weekly ministry activities focusing on meeting
ministry team(s) expectations.
- Monitors and assists with cleaning of the facility and daily routines.
- Performs and/or monitors any needed facility repairs and maintenance.
- Assist Facility Maintenance Supervisor in the management of facility costs, services, resources, staffing, and volunteers.
- Requires on-call availability as needs arise, standard work schedule to be Sun-Thur.
- Represent Lifebridge as the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor in his absence.
Campus Grounds Oversight:
- Oversee and assist with any campus ground activities performed by church volunteers and other contractors
- Assist with grounds needs and general care of the campus grounds that are not covered by lawn service
- Observe campus needs recommending and/or performing improvement activities
Facility Team Expectations:
- Collaborate with the Facility Team to support its development.
- Participate in monitoring work efforts and offer recommendations for increased productivity.
- Embrace and promote the Lifebridge culture of change and flexibility.
- Contribute to the spiritual direction of the team.
- Coordinate volunteers who assist with various Lifebridge work efforts
Job Qualifications:
- Ability to work alone and maintain good communication with the Facility Maintenance Supervisor, Facility team members, Lifebridge Staff and building users
- Must work well with others, be team oriented
- Experience supervising volunteers is a plus
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities, with good organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated self-initiative and ability to be a team player
Knowledge, Skills, and Required Abilities:
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, construction, and grounds maintenance
- Basic computer skills: ability to utilize planning software, spreadsheets, and email
- Ability to understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the entire length of shift with appropriate breaks
- Appropriate use of health & safety equipment
Working Conditions:
- Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, including occasional work in extreme outdoor temperatures, exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
- Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, loading or pulling heavy objects. Physical work is a part (about 90%) of job.
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
