Position: Office Manager/Assistant to Lead Pastor
Reports to: Lead Pastor and Executive Pastor – Operations and Ministries
Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Position Summary:
The Office Manager/Assistant will work with the Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor – Operations & Ministries, and other staff members to support achievement of Lifebridge Church’s ministry goals. This position will be expected to provide
administrative support, event management, project management and support to the Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor- Operations and Ministries and staff of Lifebridge Church to ensure successful day to day operations of the ministry efforts at Lifebridge
Church.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support Lead Pastor in all office and ministerial aspects
  • Manage and support daily office tasks
  • Serve as liaison between Lifebridge Church’s staff and its’ members
  • Manage day to day efficiency of the overall office atmosphere
  • Attend staff meetings, as well as other meetings as assigned


Job Responsibilities:

Assistant to the Lead Pastor:

  • Handling incoming calls, emails and contact requests for the Lead Pastor
  • Sending out communication to staff and others on behalf of the Lead Pastor
  • Maintaining and help with scheduling the Lead Pastor’s calendar including meetings, trips, speaking engagements etc.
  • Working with Lead Pastor on scheduling travel arrangements including flights, hotels, cars etc.
  • Tracking and submit receipts to the Finance Manager and provide budget updates to the Lead Pastor
  • Assisting in events as assigned by the Lead Pastor


Office Manager:

  • Oversees coverage of phones, doors, mail, deliveries and vendor appointments
  • Answer and screen incoming calls when needed; set up conference calls, facilitate outgoing correspondence and
    maintain written correspondence as assigned
  • Monitor and respond to communication for general church email account, as well as contact from the website
  • Manage contract of copier/printer, including ordering toner and reporting
  • Handle miscellaneous tasks including copying, ordering office supplies, postage account and other administrative duties as assigned
  • Maintain and update all databases and mailing lists required to meet ministry needs
  • Order and stock ministry supplies; Bibles, communion, etc.

Position: Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor
Reports to: Facilities Director
Status: Full Time, Exempt

Position Summary:
Reports directly to the Facilities Director assisting in the oversight of the building maintenance and operations, the maintenance of the campus grounds, and developing the Facility Team. Performs facility maintenance, general repairs and maintains the cleanliness of the church building and grounds. Supervises, leads, and actively participates alongside facility associates in the preparation and striking of individual rooms and/or facility areas for weekly services, Bible studies, and other events at Lifebridge Church. The Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor will provide good stewardship of the resources God has provided to the Lifebridge Facility Department and will serve as a model of integrity, service, patience, grace, and
impeccable work ethics.

Job Responsibilities:

Building Maintenance and Operations:
● Performs, assists and/or supervises any needed facility repairs and maintenance.
● Establishes rapport and oversees Contractors who service our facility needs.
● Leads facility maintenance, repair and process systems evaluating feasibility and team compliance.
● Assists facility team in preparation and setup for weekly ministry activities focusing on meeting ministry team(s) expectations.
● Assists with the cleaning of the facility and daily routines.
● Assist Facility Director in the management of facility costs, services, resources, staffing, and volunteers.
● Requires on-call availability as needs arise, standard work schedule may rotate between Sun-Thur and Mon -Fri.
● Represent Lifebridge as the Facilities Director in his absence.

Campus Grounds Oversight:
● Oversee the work effort of the landscaping contractors charged with the care of our property
● Oversee and supervise any campus ground activities performed by church volunteers and other contractors
● Assist with landscape needs such as irrigation repairs, tree trimming and general care of the campus grounds that are not covered by lawn service.
● Observe campus needs recommending and/or performing improvement activities.

Direct and Develop the Facility Team:
● Assist and lead team roles and weekly responsibilities
● Supervises, leads, and actively participates alongside facility team members work efforts providing recommendations toward increased productivity
● Provide coaching and mentoring developing associates into leaders
● Promote the Lifebridge culture that embraces change and flexibility
● Lead and role model spiritual direction for the team
● Supervise volunteers who assist with various Lifebridge work efforts

Job Qualifications:
● Ability to work alone and maintain good communication with the Facility Director, Facility team members, Lifebridge Staff, vendors and building users
● Must work well with others, be team oriented
● Experience leading employees and/or volunteers
● Ability to multi-task and set priorities, with good organizational skills and attention to detail
● Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
● Demonstrated self-initiative, resolute yet diplomatic with flexibility and creativity to find alternative solutions to
challenges

Knowledge, Skills, and Required Abilities:
● General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, construction, and grounds maintenance
● Plumbing: ability to fix leaky pipes, flush valves, faucets, water fountains and unclog toilets etc.
● Electricity: ability to replace lights or ballasts, install fans, wiring outlets and switches
● General understanding of mechanical repairs for golf carts and vehicles
● Heating and Air Conditioning: replacing filters, cleaning condenser coils and ducts, general troubleshooting
● Basic computer skills: ability to utilize, HVAC management systems, BMS, planning software(PCO), spreadsheets, and email
● Ability to read and interpret basic building plans and wiring diagrams.
● Ability to understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
● Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
● Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
● Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the entire length of shift with appropriate breaks
● Planning and scheduling skills to plan and complete assigned work
● Appropriate use of health & safety equipment

Working Conditions:
● Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, including occasional work in extreme outdoor temperatures, exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
● Considerable physical activity. Requires some heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, loading or pulling heavy objects. Physical work is a part (about 50%) of job.
● Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
