A Message from Our Lead Pastor, Luke Lezon – 

Quay Downtown is an answer to prayer. Ever since I moved my family to Orlando, my prayer has been that God would give us the opportunity to do something in the heart of downtown. In the most urban areas of our country, where people have been fleeing from, we want to run into them with the light of the gospel.

I remember talking with Justin Melton a few months into my time here and I said, “I pray that we have a chance to do something downtown on Church Street.” 

Years later, Justin told me about an opportunity to partner now, with Downtown Baptist Orlando, and when I asked him what street it was on, he looked up at me like he had seen a ghost, “Church Street.”

I believe God is doing something miraculous here in Windermere and Winter Garden. I am thankful for all we have been given to steward here, but how incredible would it be, and is it now, that we can come alongside a historic ministry in our city, to see the heart of our city transformed and revitalized with gospel hope and the truth of the risen Jesus, as we create a community of believers who find that a church has run to meet them right where they are?

Now is the time! To seek God and pray for Orlando. That God would not only do something new, but that he would create something beautiful in the heart of our city, that touches every fringe and corner for the good of his people, and for his name and renown.
